American Eagle Outfitters and their music agency R.E.D. wanted to shake up their 2014 “Back To School” campaign with an innovative and inspiring music promotion.  On Monday, July 28th, American Eagle Outfitters launched “UP NEXT”, an in-store and social campaign that we executed for them.

6 artists active on the 2014 festival scene (Vance JoyDe LuxHunter HuntedStrange TalkDesert Noises and Tijuana Panthers) were asked to help curate the American Eagle Outfitters in-store music soundtrack. We sourced and selected the artists, negotiated their involvement and managed the entire project including delivery of all assets, coordinating and scheduling interviews and arranging for product delivery to each band. It’s been a really fun process and included playlists, Q&A pieces for the AEO blog and “inspired-by” outfits created by AEO’s in-house stylist.
